After an ugly divorce, Brynn Baron-Wilde swore off men and created a new life in a quaint upstate touristy town where she runs a successful bakery and tearoom. Brynn has everything mapped out and she’s got no time for distractions.

And then along came Jackson Merrill – former Army medic turned talented renovation specialist. Jax enters Brynn’s well-ordered life and proceeds to shake up her world.

He’s a bit on the dented and dinged side after his military service and she’s dealing with a stealth attack from her grandmother who’s added manipulative clauses to her will that threaten Brynn’s hold on her house and business.

Sometimes fate and destiny have a sense of humor along with some questionable timing. Are these two destined to be together or will her reluctance and his issues keep them apart? When a stunning turn of events complicates things even more, things sure do get interesting – meddling parents and all.

Wilde Forever Wilde Women Book 1 edition by Suzanne Halliday Jenny Sims Literature Fiction eBooks

My first read by Suzanne Halliday was a decent one! It was definitely a HOT one! Wilde Forever is book one in Halliday's series following the three Wilde sisters as they navigate through life.

Brynn Wilde is the oldest sister, a Type A gal focused on work and making her family's bakery and tea-room her main focus after a failed marriage. She is strong and determined to live her own life all while fighting the family's push for her to experience more. She even has a feisty grandmother dropping bombs on her such as a "marriage clause" in order to maintain the deed to her business. NO WAY, this woman has sworn off relationships!

Enter Jackson Merrill, ex military man, on a mission to fulfill his father's demand to help and old friend. His mission puts him in Brynn Wilde's bakery and while her "sinful buns" are definitely to die for, she is not so easy to resist herself! While this man may be all alpha, he will have quite a bit of work cut out for him...or will he?

This relationship is fast but fun. It is quite predictable but nonetheless good. Both Brynn and Jax have some protective walls up but they have no problem when it comes to intimacy. This read is wowzers hot with both blushing dirty talk and the action to back it up. I like Brynn a lot...she was strong and sweet and determined. She also let go and took and gave as needed. I did struggle a bit with Jax. His coming to town was a great spark for Brynn. He was strong and powerful with a hint of danger but he was a bit sugary sweet. Yes, he delivered the heat and the dirtiest of talk, but he also had a bit of overly sweet talk that just isn't my cup of tea! The "love" and the "sweets" and the inner workings of his mind made a lot of that demanding bedroom activity seem pointless. That rough demanding sex doesn't seem so hot after he starts apologizing! Own it man!!! Brynn definitely didn't complain!

Wilde Forever Wilde Women Book 1 edition by Suzanne Halliday Jenny Sims Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Brynn and Jax...what a great story!!! Laugh, cry and love..all emotions brought out in this story.
I love the Justice Brothers series and love how this series tied into it.
If you haven't read any of Suzannes' books, I highly recommend that you do and start with the Justice Brothers and continue with Family Justice before reading the Wilde trilogy...you won't regret it!!!
Love the Wilde Family! they are crazy, amazing, funny, and loving all rolled together! When Brynn meets Jackson sparks fly and only soar from there! This is a must read book!
Getting to know brynn and jax was a wild ride. Instant attraction and more wild sex than you can imagine. Little over the top for me but a good read. Both had a lot of baggage but a connection for all times. Once they over came the obstacle nothing but a beautiful relationship was going to emerge. You have to read and hope more of them show up in next book. This book is a lot like the justice series and it was outstanding.
The story was marginal. A soldier returns from war with PTSD and a need to be a dominant. Meh. I wanted to like the book, but the story gets lost in all the sex and is weak to start off with anyway. A bakery owner is being forced to get married after a bad divorce or her grandmother will give her place to a jerky cousin. Meh. Hardly believable in this day and age.
Not sure where to begin this review. One of the best stories I have read in awhile. Great main characters, as well as side characters. This is Brynn and Jax's story. Brynn is the oldest of the Wilde sisters. This novel has a lot of romance, some humor and a while lot of steam. Thought my IPad might melt and surprised it didn't. I am anxious for the next boo in this series. Read all of the Justice series and they were also really good and the kind of novels that you re-read. Highly recommend this author.
This first book in the Wilde sisters series was good but too long. Jax & Brynn were a hit couple but there is such a thing as TOO much sex & TOO descriptive sex. At some points I found myself skimming through the sex scenes because there were too many & they were too long. What I liked about the book no outside interference from some jealous chick, the characters were real-world flawed (Jax with his PTSD and Brynn having been burned by her 1st marriage). What I didn't like Nana's stupid clause in her will basically trying to force Brynn into marriage! So she'd rather her granddaughter be forced into a loveless marriage or lose her land & business?!? What loving grandmother does that?!! This book is a case of insta-love, which I'm not a fan of but I'll roll with it.

Wilde Forever is definitely worth checking out. I could friends definitely see myself reading future books in the series.
This book was entertaining but it was waaaaaay too long. I found myself skipping over pages, even the ones with sex scenes which it totally unlike me. It just seemed to drag at points. My other issue was that I didn't really identify with Brynn. It wasn't that she was a bad person, far from it, she just acted in a way that I couldn't grasp. I understand that she wasn't a girly girl, I'm not really one either, but I have yet to meet a grown woman of 28 who plays video games and gets into burping contests with her boyfriend. In a way she was awesome because she was who she was and she made not apologies for it, but I just didn't really connect with her. I also found that the writing was a bit out of touch with how normal people talk. I have yet to meet a man, or a woman for that matter, that makes the noise "pffft", or "humph". The author was trying to make Jax a tough alpha male, and at some points she succeeded, but those little discrepancies were annoying.

Overall a good read but I don't think it would go in my read again pile. The author's other books have good reviews but I see that they are even longer than this one so I don't know if I will be able to read another one.
